Description: About the Position The Site Merchandiser will be responsible for front-end site optimizations through site merchandising for BIG\'s Professional Division. The Site Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring a seamless customer shopping experience as a result of executing the online merchandising and assortment strategies for business leveraged by website analytics, industry trends and competitive research. To be successful in this role you will need to balance a data-driven approach taking an entrepreneurial approach to defining eCommerce strategy. You will have a strong understanding of both the art and science of eCommerce and work closely with a number of cross-functional teams. You are humble, inclusive, courageous, growth-minded and passionate about the consumer journey. You will be responsible for conversion rate through visual representation, digital content, product discovery and providing data driven insights in partnership with brand visual needs. Location preference for this role is Salt Lake City, Chicago, NY or LA [Remote]. Responsibilities

  • As Site Merchandiser, you will strategize and execute an eCommerce experience strategy . You will bring a strategic, innovative mind-set to all that you do.
  • End to end product planning and execution on Shopify platforms for brands, promotion execution, and digital content on platform.
  • Implement and optimize site merchandising strategies that focus on conversion, product discovery and, maximizing guest engagement for frictionless shopping.
  • Focus on optimal experience in relation to traffic optimization, site taxonomy and attribution management, navigation, facets, sort, internal search optimization, item level content, cross-sell/up-sell, item data strategy.
  • Digital content strategy planning and insight that is KPI centric.
  • Provide stakeholders with customer journey best practices using behavior flow insights
  • Plan brand-building, category-optimized site content, partnering with category leaders within Merchandising and Marketing to ensure alignment across the enterprise. Provide business inputs and context to creative teams for execution, ensuring content is revenue-driving, on brand, and impactful.
  • Monitor and provide reporting and KPIs across brands as well as market trends, and competitive insights to optimize business. Provide weekly reporting and insights to brands and partners
  • Establish strong relationships across cross-functional teams. Influence and leverage other teams within the broader organization to advance digital objectives across brands
  • Experience execution on Shopify platforms for quick frontend store changes
  • Familiar with product discovery tools [SearchSpring]
  • Comfortable making data driven decisions leveraging PowerBI/GA/platform dashboards and producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills as this position will engage with 4+ brands within the Professional Division

Requirements:
  • 1-3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 progressive experience in eCommerce merchandising management, CRO and shopper/customer marketing, preferably in the B2B beauty space.
  • A highly organized, mature problem-solver with sharp business acumen and in depth knowledge of eCommerce concepts
  • Keen eye for design and interest in translating brand vision through Site Merchandising
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of web functionality, web analytics, and consumer behavior to find opportunities and actionable insights.
  • Experience with Analytics Tools such as Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce Platforms, such as Shopify Plus
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and quickly adjusts thinking and actions should the realities of a situation shift
  • Experience with A / B testing and multivariate optimization
  • Experience working with technical and creative teams to accomplish goals
  • Proven track record of devising and executing sales-enhancing strategies
  • Strong understanding of how creative, messaging and UX influence the purchase journey
  • Attention to details and accuracy in reporting
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
