Job Description

We are looking for an

experienced

and motivated individual to join our manufacturing team. Insulating and sheathing walls and prep for vinyl siding. We are located in Scranton, PA and build residential and commercial buildings. As a member of the roofing team, the ideal candidate will install roof insulation, roof sheathing, underlayment and asphalt shingles.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Caulk joints and seams with waterproof sealant or putty Install vapor barrier house wrap Install windows and exterior doors per manufactures installation instructions Select the type of siding material and trim, according to the blueprint and work order Install siding per manufacturer's installation instruction Using power tools or hand tools Cut and install soffits, fascia and vents as required Cover exposed nails or screw heads with plastic or metal caps, using a hammer or screwdriver Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Must have 2 years of experience installing siding Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment Valid driver's license Hardworking, punctual, and detail oriented Experience working with a variety of siding materials
