Position Summary

We are seeking a

CDL Shuttle Driver

for our Darlington, SC location. This role involves

local driving between plants

and

yard spotting duties

. You will be responsible for safely transporting trailers and containers between nearby facilities and organizing equipment within the yard. This position is ideal for experienced drivers who enjoy consistent local routes and being an integral part of daily logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Shuttle trailers and containers between local plants in a safe and timely manner. Spot trailers within the yard to designated docks for loading and unloading. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of shuttle and yard equipment. Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and locations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and yard personnel. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company procedures. Assist with yard organization and trailer staging as needed.

Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Minimum of 3 years of professional Class A driving experience. Experience with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD). Clean MVR and background; valid Medical Card. Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and dependable work ethic.

Hourly Rate:

$21.00
