Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Short-Term Rental Cleaner to over turn and ensure our properties are spotless and welcoming for guests. This role involves preparing rental units for new arrivals by performing thorough cleaning and sanitation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service to property owners and guests. There are 30+ units around the downtown Santa Monica area so some light travel is required when going from house to house. The pay is $60 per unit that is cleaned and each unit takes 1-1.5 hours to complete. The hours are 11am-4pm but can change according to guest check in and check out times. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial cleaning, janitorial tasks, or hospitality environments. Flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential to succeed in this fast-paced position.

Duties

Perform comprehensive cleaning of rental units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected according to health standards Conduct laundry services for linens, towels, and guest clothing as needed Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and other methods Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning essentials Handle trash removal and waste disposal efficiently Follow safety protocols related to sanitation and cleaning procedures Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or damages

Experience

Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred Experience with hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles is a plus Familiarity with laundry processes and linen management p Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
