This company is specifically seeking candidates with at least 4 years of Active U.S. Military Leadership experience

The Military Division of Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for a Shop Supervisor, based out of their southeast Baton Rouge LA facility. This global organization is a pioneer in the design and production of technologically advanced equipment for energy & power systems - looking for polished individuals with strong Leadership experience, seeking a role with lots of room for exciting career growth.

Must have at least 10 years working with steam turbines, centrifugal or reciprocating compressors, or large rotating machinery, with leadership/supervisory experience in a repair, maintenance or manufacturing setting.

Compensation: $100,000-120,000 base

(+ 10% bonus opportunity)

What You Will Do:

Will oversee a team of 20-25 mechanics and machinists that perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, recording of as-found conditions, and the reassembly of rotating equipment. Write-up inspections of all machinery (including parts list and recommendations for repair proposals.) Work to ensure that all projects are completed safely, correctly and meet or beat customer expectations; foster an environment of continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and operational excellence for all members of the mechanical shop team.

Education and Work Experience:

at least

4 years of Active Duty (strong Leadership) U.S. Military experience

required 10+ years working with

steam turbines, centrifugal or reciprocating compressors

, or

large rotating machinery

Must have experience with

technical inspection, blueprint reading, and precision measuring tools

Demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience within a repair, maintenance, or manufacturing setting Strong communicator who can balance production targets with safety and quality compliance
