About the Role

We're looking for a strong diagnostic tech who can run a shop, handle all-makes repairs, manage workflow, and help us turn flip-cars fast. If you can handle everything from CAN-bus issues to timing chains to high-mileage BHPH work -- this is your home.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose & repair all brands (domestic & import) Lead daily shop operations, assign work, maintain productivity Evaluate incoming inventory for flip: repair cost vs value Write estimates, order parts, track shop metrics Mentor junior techs and maintain a clean, organized shop Work with sales side to prioritize inventory Maintain documentation for in-house warranties
Requirements

MUST have full set of your own professional-grade tools (diagnostic tools a plus; we also provide shop equipment, lifts, big tools, scanners, etc.) 5+ years hands-on automotive diagnostic & repair experience 2+ years shop-lead or management experience Strong electrical & computer-diagnostic ability Ability to read wiring diagrams & handle CAN-network issues Solid understanding of repair cost vs resale value on used cars Valid driver's license Ability to work fast & independently
Preferred (Not Required)

ASE or OEM certifications Experience in used-car / BHPH / fast-flip operations Familiarity with Autel, Snap-On, AllData, or Mitchell
