Shop Laborer
Job Description
Assist welders and fabricators with material handling, fitting, and preparation.
Cut, grind, or clean metal components as directed.
Organize and stage materials for upcoming jobs.
Maintain cleanliness of the shop, including sweeping, debris removal, and equipment wipe-downs.
Must be able to use general shop tools/equipment (read tape measure, use of cutting torch, grinding and sanding)
Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Support general shop operations as needed.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to pass a Drug Test
Must be versatile and willing to learn
Willing to follow directions and take notes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Shift availability:
Day Shift (Preferred)
