GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Assist with general shop duties

Make Will-call pickups for Shop and deliveries from Shop

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with general shop duties

. A-frames

. Sinks, supplies, etc.

Drive Company Vehicles to various suppliers and/or job sites

. Assist with unload, receiving, deliveries, etc.

Train and understand the various types and colors of granite products and installation supplies

Participate in cleaning activities as scheduled

Participate in Training, Safety Trainings/Meetings

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will have no supervising responsibilities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); No other experience or training is required.

Prior experience in a stone shop is a plus

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) strongly encouraged

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to use and understand measuring tape or ability to learn

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License and clean MVR

This position requires a background check, which may include criminal history, driving records, and employment verification, subject to applicable laws and applicant consent.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The position will require the following physical activities on a regular basis; Reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, handling and repetitive motions.

The maximum amount of weight required to be lifted will be less than 100 pounds.

There are no special vision requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Indoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment, and outdoors in all environments

The typical noise level for this job is loud to very loud.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
