Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our service team. This role involves supporting daily operations within a busy shop environment, assisting with assembly, equipment handling, and general warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with various tools and machinery. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fabrication and assembly processes , job material and equipment staging, and develop valuable skills in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with the assembly of products on the product staging line using hand tools and power tools Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufactured equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization within the shop and warehouse areas Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning

Requirements

Prior experience in shop and or warehouse environments preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with staging material and processes are highly desirable Ability to operate forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other machinery safely Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods Basic understanding of manufacturing safety standards and procedures Previous experience with warehouse operations or assembly work is a plus Reliable transportation to arrive on time for shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
