Duties

Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Lead, train, and develop staff through effective employee orientation and ongoing training programs. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices. Conduct interviews and participate in the recruiting process to build a strong team. Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth while maintaining high standards of customer service. Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and adjust pricing strategies as necessary. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management. Handle budgeting responsibilities to ensure financial goals are met. Maintain an organized shop environment that enhances the customer experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory responsibilities. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Proficiency in inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Solid understanding of payroll processes and cash handling procedures. Experience in training & development of staff members to enhance their skills and performance. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with marketing strategies that can drive store traffic and sales growth. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
