SUMMARY

:


The

Shop Foreman

is responsible for the organization of the jobs scheduled as well as the technician assignments within the shop. The Foreman has direct contact with customers and employees providing exceptional service that contains clear communication in a timely manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedules jobs / Assigns them to techs Approves techs parts orders Stays in touch with techs on job progress Communicating with customers Works closely with safety to keep all company vehicles maintained and repaired Works closely with the Office Manager to meet monthly revenue goals Identifies areas of concern and seeks possible solutions

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years in a management role (REQUIRED)

3-5 years' experience repairing and maintaining Light, Medium, and Heavy-Duty vehicles

(preferred)

CDL A OR B is a plus but not required Proficiency in programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook + Experience using Fullbay is a plus
Customer Service Experience

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This job operates in a professional office environment as well as in the field. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the office can be loud. While performing the duties of this job in the field, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions due to weather conditions.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, pull, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally put lift and/or move objects Up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
