Job Description

Pacific Millworks is a growing custom woodwork shop, currently looking for a Shop Expeditor. The expeditor helps coordinate the efficient flow of materials and finished goods into and out of the production process. This individual would be a key part of our production team assisting procurement with material tracking and distribution, staging material for our production team, as well as being the face of the company when running deliveries.
Responsibilities

• Ensure shop is clean and organized
• Receive incoming product; inspect for damage and/or accuracy. Notify Procurement Coordinator and store in the appropriate location
• Repair/replace storage locations as needed (e.g. clamp racks, shelving, carts, etc)
• Assisting the team ensuring tools are stored and maintained properly
• Dust collectors emptied, filters maintained
• Ensure outgoing shipments are packaged & labeled correctly
• Work with Production Manager to coordinate pickup/delivery of finished items
• Assist Procurement Coordinator in maintaining inventory of shop consumables
• Collect required material lists from draftsmen/benches and ensure materials are available prior to project start dates
• Town runs for materials, vehicle maintenance, fumigation, etc

• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and a clean driving record for insurance purposes
• Experience towing and backing in a trailer
• Familiarity with a production or warehouse environment
• Availability for Full-Time work; shops hours are 7:15a-4p Monday- Friday
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form
• Comfortable lifting 50lbs, or more as a Team Lift
