Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team. We are a growing company and looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic. This is an entry level position that requires some mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively with both power and hand tools, or a willingness to learn. Responsibilities

Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools to assist in the fabrication and assembly of products. Support the assembly line by ensuring that all components are prepared and ready for production. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards. Assist in the organization of materials and supplies within the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow. Prepare, account for, and package product for delivery. Maintain QC standards and assist in accuracy in product. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to mechanical knowledge and tool operation.

Experience

Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is a plus. Familiarity with operating forklifts is preferred, but not mandatory; training may be provided. Experience working on an assembly line or in warehouse operations is highly desirable. Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently. Strong work ethic and reliability. A commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment is essential.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
