Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:

Reviews bill of lading for each shipment and checks and records all items loaded for shipment. Maintains other shipping records such as goods returned, returnable pallets, dunnage, etc. Check and count all items received from trucks or trailers. Verify all incoming goods are not damaged and matches packing slip. May move materials in receiving area and factory with hand truck and forklift. Responsible for preparing the loose parts shipments for the factory. Assist in monthly and annual physical inventories.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school education, or GED; Up to 1 month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSCIAL EFFORT:

Ability to safety use and utilize hand and power tools in addition to forklift or hand truck equipment. * Ability to frequently lift up to 25lbs while occasionally be asked to lift up to 50lbs in work area.
