Job Description

Division: Steel Dynamics Overview:

Requires loading cars, keeping up with inventory, operating mobile equipment, clean up, following the crane, stacking/re-stacking of bundles. All duties assigned by the supervisor are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Placing dunnage on stacks, trucks, or railcars Scanning material in and out of inventory Visually inspect material for apparent surface defects Band bundles and railcars as required Operate mobile equipment including truck shifter, forklift and rail shifter Load trucks and railcars with finished material, billets and secondary items Secure and tarp trailers as required Communicate with drivers and other departments Work and cover overtime when required Stack/ re-stack steel bundles

Any other Duties assigned by Leadership
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Practical computer skills 2- year verifiable work experience in an industrial environment
