Shipping/Receiving Clerk needed in Grand Rapids!

We are hiring for a machine shop in GR between the Wyoming and Kentwood areas. This team member will be working in the shipping/receiving area for the production of small to medium sized metal pieces and parts. You will be working by yourself and with a team. Previous hi-lo experience is required for this role!

It is important that you are able to follow directions, ask questions as needed, and pay attention to detail.

Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday

Starting Pay: $17.00/hr (DOE)

Requirements:

5+ years in shipping/receiving and hi-lo driving

Detail oriented and reliable

Great attendance

Great communication skills

Familiar with Windows, Excel, and email

Comfortable lifting 35-50 lbs

Be on your feet for a full 8 hour shift

Flexibility in jumping in on additional duties throughout the facility

Job Duties:

Operate sit-down hi-lo, assist production as needed

Manage/keep job materials organized for packouts

Assist with packaging/labeling/assembling customer orders

Track hardware, receiving, and packing hardware for assembly

Communicate shortages with buyers

Work with engineering on BOM related issues

Manage/receive purchase order products

Clean/maintain workspace, perform housekeeping as needed

Perform additional duties as required
