SHIPPING - MATERIAL HANDLER - 2nd SHIFT

Overall Goal of Position:

Job Summary

Warehouse 4 forklift operator will perform daily duties and task as outlined but not limited to the loading and un-loading of trucks, stage and or pull selected orders for daily shipments, participate in general housekeeping as outlined by management.



Key Duties and Responsibilities

Proven experience as a forklift operator. Unload materials or production from incoming vehicles and relocate to proper destinations. Ability to use RF scanner for picking, relocating and production purposes. Locate, stack or palletize finished goods for shipping. List production activity and log all completed tasks. Follow all safety policies and procedures as dictated by the organization or state and local agencies. Identifying work place hazards. Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.

Skills Requirement:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented, collaborative, and flexible Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work and thrive under time constraints and juggle/prioritize responsibilities.

Education and Experience Requirement:

High school diploma or equivalent ( GED ) Forklift certification.
