Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. Must be good with computers and able to learn software. Must be able to lift heavy boxes. Ability to use a forklift or willingness to learn. Good math skills needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper handling. Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and load & unload trucks safely. Will use UPS, FedEx, Stamps.com, and internal software on a daily basis. Coordinate with carriers for shipping schedules and ensure timely dispatch of goods. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards. Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, weight measurements, and shipment documentation. Support warehouse distribution activities including loading trucks efficiently to optimize space.

Experience

Previous experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or distribution is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment and inventory management. Basic math skills necessary for inventory counts and shipment calculations. Ability to operate equipment safely following all safety protocols. Prior experience working in e-commerce or fast-paced warehouse environments is advantageous. Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
