Job Description

Overview:

We are a busy metal finishing shop seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Clerk. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of metal finishing processes, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate logistics, inventory, and documentation. Support production with material handling and workflow coordination. Operate company vehicle for local pickups and deliveries.

Requirements:

Computer skills Experience with FedEx and UPS World ship Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn technical aspects of metal finishing for proper order write up.

Preferred:

Prior experience in metal finishing or manufacturing logistics. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
