Job Summary:

We have immediate openings for a qualified Shipping/ Receiving Manager/Heavy-Duty Forklift Operator. Need dependable, motivated individuals to join our team long-term. This is a working managerial position; average 25% of your time may be on a forklift.

Responsibilities:

Ensure crew members are lined out for the day Ensure procedures in yard are maintained Ensure material coming out of the Paint Department is organized Monitor loads are being built on the ground correctly Check schedule to ensure timeliness of loads Confirm loads are to be completed 24 hrs. before ship date Material should be facing up Confirm shipping tag has been issued to Shipping Department and Field Personnel 2-days before shipping Confirm Project Coordinator has created a separate ship tag for FOB items Receive (check-in only) structural steel and other material from trailers. Designated forklift operator will offload material Ensure the PO (receiving list) matches material being offloaded Be sure to sign and date delivery tags before turning into the office Operate forklift in a safe manner Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

10 years of managerial experience in the structural steel industry 10 years of experience operating a heavy-duty forklift Must be dependable and able to delegate responsibility Must possess leadership skills and communicate well Must be able and willing to be trained in different production areas knowledge of Tekla a plus

Pay: $79,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
