Job Description

Maine Wood Concepts is seeking a Shipper - Come join our team!

Major Responsibilities

Verify order accuracy, including counts and weights, before shipment. Review shipping documents and resolve discrepancies prior to dispatch. Maintain accurate documentation by following all standard operating procedures. Follow shipping instructions and address shipment-related questions before finalizing orders. Process shipping paperwork promptly and schedule carrier pick-ups.

Key Tasks

Weigh and count products from production, finishing, and secondary processes. Keep the shipping area organized and ensure items are ready for dispatch. Assist with palletizing, checking, wrapping, and moving pallets to the loading dock. Create accurate product labels. Learn product lines and workflows to prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Clear communication and the ability to work well with all levels of production staff. Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds throughout the day.

Working Environment

Fast-paced, physically demanding setting with frequent communication via email, phone, and in person. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
