ensure that all shingle roof installations meet company quality standards, blueprint specifications, and safety regulations:

Key Responsibilities and Duties:


Inspect:

in-progress and completed shingle roof installations for

quality, accuracy, and compliance:

with blueprints and work orders

Verify:

correct materials, fastening methods, alignment, and overhang are used in all installations

Identify defects:

, document issues, and

communicate corrective actions:

to roofing crews and supervisors

Conduct re-inspections:

after repairs to confirm completion

Monitor and enforce OSHA safety standards:

, including tie-off policies and PPE usage

Assist with training:

new crew members in quality expectations and installation best practices

Maintain inspection logs:

and submit daily reports to the Roofing Supervisor

Collaborate with other departments:

to ensure production deadlines are met without compromising quality

Skills:


Knowledge of shingle roofing installation methods:

(residential or commercial)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints:

and ability to spot subtle defects

Required Qualifications:


Minimum 1 year:

of roofing or construction experience

Comfortable working at heights:

of 6+ feet using safety harnesses

Proficient in using hand tools and pneumatic tools:
