U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Philadelphia, PA location. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the completion of maintenance assignments; directs and instructs shift personnel, oversees completion of maintenance logs and forms; controls and issues tools and equipment. Functions as integral member of management team by troubleshooting problems and communicating regularly with managers. We are currently looking for 2 Shift Supervisors: one to work Monday-Friday 8am-4pm; and the other to work 4pm-12am varied days. May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices. Requirements SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Familiarity with plumbing, electric, and fire protection systems.
- A minimum of five (5) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems boilers, chillers, and HVAC control systems is required.
- Must possess a current City of Philadelphia First Grade Stationary Engineer License
- An EPA and USEPA approved universal refrigeration certification
- Must conform to all city, state and federal licensing and certification requirements.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems required
- Must be able to read and work with blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Requires work in confined spaces and on ladders or lift equipment over six feet from ground.
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in confirmed space.
- Ability to use a wide variety of hand and power tools.
