Responsibilities
Lead and motivate team members during your shift to deliver outstanding service and food quality.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Manage POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation.
Supervise kitchen operations including food production, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
Train new staff members on food service protocols, safety procedures, POS operation, and customer service excellence.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and control waste to optimize food costs.
Oversee shift management activities including scheduling, staff delegation, and performance monitoring.
Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a strong team aligned with company values.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain documentation related to health inspections.
Collaborate with management on budgeting efforts and operational improvements to enhance overall restaurant performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants.
Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in the food industry or hospitality sector.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS; cash handling experience required.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures; experience with food handling certifications preferred.
Background in restaurant management or food service management is highly desirable; juice bar or smoothie bar experience is a plus.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff effectively.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and operational planning is advantageous.
