Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Lead to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Lead, you will support management.

This position has the ability to grow into something larger! You can work your way up to be an Assistant Manager, and General Manager!

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Square. Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed to support kitchen staff Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas Collaborate with management on budgeting, staffing needs, and operational improvements

Requirements

Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment is preferred Strong background in food service management with knowledge of culinary practices Experience with inventory control and cash handling procedures Familiarity with POS systems. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
