QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

Minimum of 3 years of Sheet Metal experience required. Ability to trim and shape sheet metal using shears and saws Ability to secure components with rivets, welding, or adhesives Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations like fractions and angles Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans Familiarity with hand and power tools, such as snips, drills, grinders, and rivet guns Knowledge about PPE and safe working practices, including safely lifting, transporting, and positioning sheet metal pieces

SOFT SKILLS

Attention to detail Communication and collaboration skills Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines Physical ability to regularly stand, lift, and work in tight spaces

BONUS CRITERIA

Basic HVAC knowledge Ductwork installation knowledge

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Sheet Metal Technician works from

7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday

You work closely with our more experienced technicians to complete top-notch fabrication, installation, and repair projects. Closely following directions and project plans, you help install, fabricate, and repair HVAC ductwork, roofing structures, metal panels, and more. No matter what you're doing, you give every task your best effort while striving to learn more and grow your skills.
