Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create high-quality metal products according to specifications and blueprints. The Sheet Metal Fabricator will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet industry standards and client requirements.

Duties

Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including press brake machines and plasma cutters Perform measurements using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication Assemble ductwork and other sheet metal products as per design specifications Conduct rigging operations for moving heavy materials safely within the workspace Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines

Experience

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related field is preferred Experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery is a plus Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations required for fabrication tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.56 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
