Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP - Shared Living Option / Kenduskeag,Maine

Morrison Center

is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a Part -Time positoin in a residential setting in Kenduskeag Maine. This position will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a warm, shared living environment.

Requirements of the Direct Support Professional (DSP):

DSP certification preferred, but if you are motivated we are happy to train you! CPR/First Aid certification is preferred Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus High School diploma or GED required. Valid Maine Driver's license required and clean driving record

Benefits of the Job:

Pay $21 an hour Hours: 16 hours a week, Monday - Friday Flexible start time as early as 10am. Dental, Medical Paid Time off 403(b) retirement plan with company contribution

Responsibilities of the Direct Support Professional (DSP):

Supporting residents with daily living skills, including meal preparation, personal care, and wellness needs. Planning and engaging in meaningful, goal-oriented activities tailored to each individual. Documenting progress and providing accurate, up-to-date records through our electronic system. Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment as part of a supportive team. Encouraging community involvement and life skills development. Being a positive and collaborative team member.
