Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and assisting with food and beverage service. This role is essential in creating memorable dining experiences in our fine dining establishment or nightclub setting. Duties - Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system. - Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items and specials to enhance guest experience. - Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food handling standards. - Buss tables promptly after guests leave to maintain cleanliness and readiness for the next guests. - Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts. - Assist with maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest needs or concerns promptly. - Uphold high standards of customer service, demonstrating professionalism at all times. Qualifications - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting. - Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions. - Experience with food handling practices is preferred; culinary background is a plus. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with guests. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs. - A passion for providing outstanding service in both fine dining and nightclub atmospheres is highly desirable.
