Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently during busy hours. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in hospitality, food safety, and guest relations. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling POS transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing questions or concerns professionally Support kitchen staff with basic food handling or preparation as needed Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and dietary restrictions

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is advantageous Strong communication skills and a professional appearance Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
