We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing attentive service, managing guest orders, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout each shift. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. The Server will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while upselling menu items and fostering guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable.
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and proper food handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, stations, and dining spaces.
Support host/host duties when needed by managing reservations via OpenTable or similar systems.
Experience
Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling.
Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
