Settlement Oversight Analyst

Department: Settlement Oversight

Location: Onsite/Hybrid

Schedule: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, 8am to 5pm

What work will you perform?

Responsible for review and audit of Settlement Internal Control reports, including Policy IQ and Operational reporting, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Answer internal and agent accessorial questions by email and phone
• Educate agents on the correct use of accessorials in compliance with the contract
• Gather information from agents and submit approval to VP for any non-standard accessorial
• Review payables and ensure all information is on file to distribute checks for third-party capacities and vendors
• Review the direct deposit to ensure all payments settle correctly
• Audit and review entries from other departments to ensure accurate account set-up
• Provide information for auditing as requested
• Review accessorial usage and margin on freight bills for discrepancies
• Cross-train and cover when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• One to three years experience in a corporate environment required

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Query experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to perform quality work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Must have advanced excel skills
• Ability to create procedures as needed
