We are looking for an experienced

ServiceNow Architect

to join a high-impact HR technology project for a leading organization based in

Chicago, IL

. This is a multi-phase project involving the integration of

ServiceNow with Workday

, focused on building a next-gen

Employee Experience Portal

.

This role will work closely with internal teams and system implementation partners to lead the technical architecture, guide integration efforts, and ensure platform best practices. This is a

W2-only opportunity

- no C2C or 1099.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead architecture and design of the ServiceNow Employee Experience platform Support the migration to Workday (Phase 2 complete by 2026) Optimize and manage third-party integrations with ServiceNow Collaborate with stakeholders and implementation partners Support development/debugging tasks as needed (minimal coding) Drive decisions and ensure alignment with business goals Contribute to the design of knowledge management, AI/search, and help hub capabilities

Requirements:

Must be local to Chicago

and available to work onsite

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and some Thursdays

Deep technical expertise in

ServiceNow

, ideally in the

HR vertical

Experience with

third-party integrations

and

AI/Virtual Agent capabilities

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to lead in a team environment and meet tight deadlines Experience with

Workday

or similar platform migrations preferred

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
