Summary

We are seeking a

ServiceNow Developer

with deep expertise in ServiceNow platform development and configuration. This role requires strong technical skills in

CMDB design and maintenance

,

ITOM Discovery

,

ITSM

, and

ITAM

, along with a solid understanding of

CSDM (Common Service Data Model)

principles. The ideal candidate will help drive platform adoption, deliver scalable solutions, and ensure alignment with best practices for enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain

CMDB

and related data models in alignment with

CSDM

standards. Implement and optimize

ITOM Discovery

and service mapping to ensure accurate asset and service relationships. Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations to support

ITSM

and

ITAM

processes. Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs for operational insights and compliance monitoring. Maintain platform health, perform upgrades, and ensure adherence to change management processes. Develop and manage API integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g., SCCM, monitoring tools). Support Agile development practices and contribute to technical documentation and design specifications.

Requirements

3+ years

of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. Strong knowledge of

CMDB architecture

,

ITOM Discovery

, and

CSDM framework

. Experience implementing

ITSM

and

ITAM

modules, including Service Catalog, Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management. Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs. Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX) and database technologies (SQL, JDBC). ServiceNow certifications (Developer, Implementation Specialist, or ITOM) preferred. ITIL Foundation certification a plus. Proven experience delivering ServiceNow solutions for large-scale environments (5,000+ users).

Preferred Skills

Experience with integrations (LDAP, SCCM, monitoring tools). Understanding of user experience design principles. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
