Job Description

Service Writers are usually the first & last impression a customer has with a shop. They\xe2\x80\x99re the ones who greet customers, listen to the problems a client is having with their vehicles, communicate to the team of technicians what the problem is, and act as the liaison between the shop and the customer every step of the way. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
• Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations
• Maintain the company\xe2\x80\x99s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently Increase profitability by maximizing sales & executing retail promotions
• Oversee technicians working on customers\xe2\x80\x99 vehicles, including their time management/ efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times
• Oversee and participate in quality control
• Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS

• Detail orientated
• Strong customer service, communication, organization & time management skills
• Obtains customer & vehicle information, including customer input for requested work
• Documents service, parts & labor for each work-order
• Communicates with service techs & customers regarding work status
• Ensures documents are complete, accurate & submitted in a timely manner
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
• Work flexible hours and overtime, as needed
• Drug test required
