FLSA Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt Work Schedule: Varies Pay Range: $28.00 - $37.72/hour (DOE/DOQ) Employee Benefits

About the Company The Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations is a youth residential treatment facility which provides a safe and caring healing environment for adolescents in need. About the Position The Service Unit Supervisor supports, mentors, and supervises assigned skills coaches in the continuing development of their skills, knowledge, and attitudes. The Service Unit Supervisor works with the Program and Support Services Director to ensure agency, county, state, and program accreditation standards are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that resident schedules are maintained, groups are on time, and properly staffed.
  • Ensures that residents behaviors are managed through Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
  • Ensure that the focus is on a holistic, integrated, and resident centered approach coordinating with Behavioral Intervention Specialists, kitchen staff, medical, mental health, family counseling, education, culture, recreation, Substance Use Disorder Professionals/Leads and includes information from referral sources and other community support systems.
  • Coordinate, implement and review resident protocols to improve care and to meet State, Federal, and accreditation standards of care by participating in Performance Improvement Committees.
  • In coordination with the Program and Support Services Director, report major violations in agency/state/accreditation regulations or ethical violations.
  • Provide competency-based evaluations for Behavioral Intervention Specialists.
  • Utilize automated reports to ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards and HL policies and procedures.
  • Ensure staff is where they are needed, and that resident safety is consistently maintained.
  • Ensure Service Unit is maintained in a clean and organized manner at all times
  • Assist with and/or direct crisis management and interventions including debriefing and reporting to appropriate parties.
  • Onsite presence many be needed to handle off hour crisis situations.
  • Must be able to multi-task effectively and efficiently making decisions to maintain proper and safe daily operations flow.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have strong supervisory skills including a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace setting and act quickly with sound decision-making skills (on the spot crisis management).
  • Model appropriate behavior in challenging situations and act as a mentor for employees.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff through various means including: oral, email, radio, written form, etc.
  • Must have basic computer skills, including working knowledge in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to maintain a valid Washington State Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License for travel and usage of The Healing Lodge vehicles.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or greater in Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a health or human services environment
  • Or a combination of education and related work experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following strongly preferred:
    • Youth Residential treatment setting
    • Working with an adolescent population
    • Inpatient or outpatient chemical dependency treatment setting
    • Co-occurring disorders
