AIR CONDITIONED SHOP

S & L Motors is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team in Pulaski, WI. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our customers. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle concerns and repairs needed Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies Maintain a clean and organized work area Keep accurate records of all services performed

Requirements

Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems Ability to use diagnostic tools and computerized equipment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training preferred

Qualifications:

2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred-but

WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON

High school diploma or equivalent B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve Enjoy working in a dynamic environment Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record
