The

Service Technician

is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Toyota and Scion vehicles in accordance with factory standards. This role requires strong technical ability, a desire to learn continuously, and a passion for working on cutting-edge automotive technology--including hybrid and electric systems.

Key Responsibilities




Perform factory-recommended maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid inspections, etc.) Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using Toyota's diagnostic tools and systems (Techstream, TIS, etc.) Execute warranty repairs in compliance with Toyota Motor Corporation's guidelines Accurately document all work performed and parts used in the dealership's repair order system Communicate findings and repair recommendations with the Service Advisor and customers as needed Maintain Toyota certification and participate in ongoing training programs Follow all dealership and Toyota safety, environmental, and ethical standard

Qualifications




High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or automotive trade school preferred Toyota or manufacturer-specific training (T-TEN program graduates encouraged to apply) ASE Certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain 1-3 years of professional automotive experience preferred (dealership experience a plus) Familiarity with Toyota diagnostic systems and repair procedures Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication and teamwork skills

5. Shop Foreman / Service Manager / Technical Trainer
