We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our auto repair facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient shop management, cost control, scheduling, community engagement, and account management. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for automotive service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Relations



Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and timely communication. Resolve customer complaints and concerns with empathy and efficiency. Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional shop environment. Meet sales and profitability expectations

Shop Management



Supervise and support technicians and service advisors. Monitor workflow across all bays to ensure timely completion of repairs. Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability without overstocking.

Cost Control



Track and manage operational expenses to meet budget goals. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Review vendor contracts and negotiate favorable terms.

Scheduling



Coordinate technician schedules to optimize productivity and coverage. Manage appointments and walk-ins using shop management software. Ensure proper staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours.

Community Relations



Represent the shop at local events and build relationships with community organizations. Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to increase visibility and customer base. Foster a reputation for honesty, reliability, and quality service in the community.

Account Management



Oversee customer accounts, including billing, invoicing, and payment collection. Maintain accurate records of services performed and customer interactions. Work with fleet accounts and commercial clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:



3+ years of experience in automotive service management or related field. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in shop management software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology. Valid driver's license.
