Service Manager



The Service Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the service department in an agricultural dealership. This role involves leading a team of technicians, managing service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining profitability. The Service Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery. The essential job functions include but are not limited to the responsibilities listed below.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of service technicians and support staff.

Schedule and assign work, ensuring efficient use of labor and resources.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of the service team, providing feedback and coaching as needed.

Oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work orders.

Manage the workflow and prioritize service requests based on urgency and customer needs.

Maintain accurate records of service work, inventory, and parts.

Monitor and manage the service department's budget, including labor costs, parts inventory, and other expenses.

Work with the dealership's management team to develop and achieve financial goals.

Ensure the service department has the necessary tools, equipment, and resources to perform high-quality work.

Collaborate with the sales and parts departments to ensure seamless customer service and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Proven experience in a service management role, preferably in an agricultural or heavy equipment dealership.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Technical knowledge of agricultural equipment and machinery.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in computer systems and dealership management software.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
