M-F (9:00am - 6:00pm)

Summary:

The Service Porter position in the Service Department assists the Technicians, Parts Counterman, and Service Advisors and customers with locating and moving vehicles as needed in a timely and safe manner. Along with helping customers check out and check in their Courtesy Loaner vehicles.

Essential Duties:

Greet all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions and direct them to the appropriate person if they can't help them Controls service traffic flow and parking Determines if a customer coming into service has an appointment, records customer's name, Vin, tag number, mileage and existing vehicle damage Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls and parking lot as needed Clean the vehicles inside and out when necessary and/or instructed Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow etc. Maintains a professional appearance Remains compliant with Company HR training Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
