Job Description

The Service Desk Attendant is the face of the community. This position plays a vital role in ensuring resident engagement and satisfaction by providing genuine and hospitable service with each interaction.

Responsibilities and Duties



Demonstrates excellent customer service with each interaction and touchpoint. Proactively welcomes and directs residents, guests, and vendors entering and/or exiting the lobby. Answers telephones and emails in a timely and friendly manner. Resolves and takes ownership of issues and requests. Understands resident needs and provides personalized solutions and suggestions. Maintains a high level of confidentiality between residents and management, ensuring that residents' personal details remain private. Develops and maintains service relationships with residents to meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Alerts residents to arriving guests, deliveries, and vendors. Assists residents with their business needs such as shipping packages and printing. Takes messages for residents and associates. Interacts with residents to ensure they are aware of activities and amenities. Assists and arranges any special services requested by residents. Receives and processes incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Displays close attention to detail and ability to multitask. Maintains shift checklists and a digital pass-down log; no open items are left unowned at shift change. Communicates a recap of the day with the General Manager. Ensures the Front Desk is never left unattended. Utilizes, manages, and maintains software for resident requests. Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner. Monitors and controls access to the building. Projects a professional appearance and conduct. May be assigned other duties by the on-site General Manager.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a service-oriented hospitality position. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills is required. Basic computer skills are required, including knowledge of Windows operating system, Web Browsers, and Microsoft products. Must be well organized and be able to prioritize many tasks. Candidate must be able to work irregular hours when necessary, including some weekends and nights. Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
