Job Description

Service Advisor - Joey's Auto Shop - Des Moines, IA

Pay: 50,000 to 75,000+ per year, salary with performance bonus, depending on experience

Ever felt like you care more about the customer than your boss does?

Joey opened this shop after years of watching tickets get "massaged," recommendations changed, and customers sold work they never really agreed to. He built Joey's Auto Shop so the front counter and the shop could work together, not against each other. Clear communication. Honest recommendations. No games.

Now Joey is looking for a Service Advisor who is not just good with people, but rock-solid with process. Someone who will follow the playbook, help improve it, and hold the line in a positive way.

This is a great fit if you see yourself as the calm, organized center of the shop.

This is not just "smile and answer phones." This is a key role in how the shop runs.

The shop and tools

Modern, heated facility, built in 2019 9 bays, 8 hoists, clean and organized layout TekMetric shop management system General repair on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles, very little diesel Drop-off model with very few waiters, so you can actually manage the flow instead of babysitting a waiting room Google-based systems for communication, SOPs, and documents, with a digital handbook and procedures you can reference
