Primary Responsibilities

Properly greets customers within 1 minute of being seated. Maintains complete working knowledge of the full Anchor Bar menu and bar menu, and confidently answers guest questions. Uses suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase check averages. Takes customer orders accurately. Always writes down orders and repeats them back to guests for confirmation. Enters orders into the POS system promptly and communicates clearly with both the kitchen and bartender. Takes and prepares drink orders while coordinating effectively with the bartender. Checks and verifies customer identification to ensure legal drinking age; consistently upholds all state and local liquor laws. Ensures all food and beverages served meet Anchor Bar's quality and freshness standards. Serves guests courteously and professionally, making recommendations as needed. Supports team members and assists other servers whenever necessary. Thanks guests as they leave and ensures a positive final impression.

Responsibilities (Continued)

Maintains cleanliness and organization of the dining area at all times. Completes assigned side work before, during, and after shifts. Cleans and sanitizes tables promptly and effectively. Remains attentive to guest needs, anticipating requests whenever possible. Closes out checks properly and completes tip payout calculations at the end of the shift. Performs additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or FOH Manager. Capable of bending, reaching, stooping, and frequently lifting heavy items as needed to perform job functions.
Pay: $2.13 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
