Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain open lines of communication regarding guest preferences or dietary restrictions. Uphold all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices in accordance with local health codes.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with cash handling and knowledge of kitchen operations is beneficial.
