Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong understanding of food handling and preparation. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring that all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring that presentation meets our standards. Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area throughout service. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with dietary restrictions or preferences. Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and preparation at all times.

Skills

Proficient in cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions. Strong food handling knowledge to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent guest services skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Experience in the food industry or culinary background is preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Willingness to help others, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration within the restaurant setting.
