Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Must be able to work closing shift til 3am.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including specials and recommendations, while upselling items to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math for accurate billing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating strong guest relations skills. Assist with hosting duties as needed, ensuring an efficient flow of service.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS system is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the culinary industry. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule.
