Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers receive prompt, friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system, Toast. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while checking on guests' satisfaction throughout their meal. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with excellent customer service skills. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards. Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $100.00 per hour
