We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen eye for detail. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience. Upsell menu items to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while monitoring guest needs. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including basic math calculations for checks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest safety. Assist with guest relations, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightlife environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Familiarity with OpenTable reservations system is a plus. Basic culinary knowledge and food handling experience are beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Experience in cashiering and cash handling procedures is advantageous. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential. Pay: $2.35 - $24.20 per hour
