Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, explaining daily specials and answering questions about menu items. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and suggestive selling to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with food handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly for maximum satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or quick service & fast food environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as square is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with guests. Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and restaurant math calculations.
